Q. | My 11402 has locked up. I have tried powering it off, then on again with no success. How can I resolve problem? |
A. |
When the instrument's power is cycled, the instrument tries to return to the same conditions as when it was powered down. Unfortunately, that can include conditions like you are experiencing. Returning the instrument to factory default conditions will usually correct these problems. NOTE: All settings and waveforms will be erased when you reset the instrument to its default settings. This procedure to do this is as follows:
Turn off the instrument. Hold down the Waveform and Trigger menu buttons, while turning the instrument on. When the menu lights start flashing, the buttons can be released. The instrument should display a message indicating that factory defaults are being restored and everything except the number of power-ups, the serial number and the time/date has been erased. |
