The support package offers:

• Analysis of SPI-4.2 and SPI-3 internal, high-speed buses
• Full support of SPI-4.2 and SPI-3 rates (up to 350 MHz clock rate and 700 Mb/s data rate for SPI-4.2)
• SPI-4.2 FIFO status decoding with DIP-2 parity check
• DIP-4 parity check
• Trigger on control (SOP, EOP, ABORT) and packet data
• Display packetized SPI frames
• ASCII payload decoding
• Post-processed filtering of data per port
• Real-time filtering of IDLE conditions

SPI-4.2/SPI-3 TCS101 Support Package

For SPI-4.2 Support:

1. Module requirement for transmit or receive interface:
   • TLA7Axx logic analyzer modules at 450 MHz - 102 channel and above
2. Probe requirement for transmit or receive interface:
   • 2 P6880 required for data and
   • 1 optional probe for FIFO status capture and decoding - 1ea P6880 (differential probe) for LVDS and either 1ea P6860 or P6880 for LVTTL
3. Remarks:
   • Double the module and probe requirements for simultaneous transmit and receive interface acquisition

For SPI-3 Support:

1. Module requirement for transmit or receive interface:
   • TLA6xx logic analyzers at 200 MHz - 68 channel and above
   • TLA7xx logic analyzer modules at 200 MHz - 68 channel and above
   • TLA7Axx logic analyzer modules at 120 MHz - 68 channel and above
2. Probe requirement for transmit or receive interface:
   • 2 P6434 or P6880 or use with 68-channel (or above) logic analyzers or modules
3. Remarks
   • Double the module and probe requirements for simultaneous transmit and receive interface acquisition
   • A single 136- channel module cannot be used for transmit and receive simultaneously due to independent clocking in each interface
