Description

Archive file for upgrading the YBT250 application module SW using a Y400 NetTek platform. To upgrade the SW on a YBT250 application module, the archive file must first be copied to the Y400 NetTek platform. The Y400`s Module Upgrade utility can then be used to select this archive file and then update the attached YBT250 application module. See the release notes for additional details.

Installation
------------

1) Unpack the ZIP file downloaded from the web.

2) The archive file YBT250K_upgrade_v1-688_por.arq (from the downloaded ZIP file) is for upgrading the YBT250 while it is installed on a Y400 NetTek Analyzer platform. Copy this file to a PC memory card.  NOTE: Do not attempt to use this archive file for performing an upgrade of a YBT250 while it is installed on a Y350C NetTek Analyzer platform.

3) Install the PC memory card into the NetTek.

4) Start up the NetTek.

5) On the NetTek, select Start > Programs > Tektronix Utilities > Module Upgrade and follow the on-screen instructions on the NetTek.

6) When the module upgrade is complete, tap Restart Now on the NetTek to complete the installation.

7) The YBT250 and RF Scout applications are now ready to use. To start the YBT250 application double-click the YBT250 icon on the NetTek desktop, or select Start > Programs > NetTek > YBT250. To start the RF Scout application double-click the RF Scout icon on the NetTek desktop, or select Start > Programs > NetTek > RF Scout

8) After you start the application, the NetTek Analyzer Platform will copy the YBT250/RFScout software from the module into the platform and perform the installation. This process takes several minutes, but enables future power-ups to occur faster.

NOTE: The RF Scout application is only available on Y400 NetTek platforms.
